SHIPPING POLICY

Packaging

To minimise waste, we reuse packaging materials or use recycled materials when possible. So you might receive a package that contains plastic, if this is the case please be reassured that this packaging has been reused to save it from the landfill! 

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.

 

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

All items are shipped via Royal Mail. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout (see rough guide on additional information  section below). 

 

Shipment confirmation & Order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped, where applicable containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

 

Customs, Duties and Taxes

Bambú Living Sustainably is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

 

Damages

Bambú Living Sustainably is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.


RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

 If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help.

 

Returns

You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • Your item must be in the original packaging.

  • Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. 

If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer's policies.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Outside of Europe

If you live outside of Europe, please consider finding alternative sustainable products more local to where you live and support local independent businesses with similar green ethos to us. Our decision not to ship outside of Europe is to minimise potential high emissions deriving from such long-distance freight.

That said, if you live in a country where you don't have access to zero waste options we are more than happy to make an exception and ship to you, just contact us before ordering to arrange it! 

Pickup in Edinburgh

If you are in the Edinburgh area you can place an order online and select the "Pick up in Edinburgh" option at check out! The address of our pickup point is:

Please contact us in advance before coming to collect your order and check the opening times of our weekly pop-up on our website.
